Poem of the Day and Italian Word of the Day

Writing has been an outlet for me… I am glad to share the works that I create. Please bear in mind these are very simple poems that get created in just a short amount of time, 2 to 3 minutes at most, spontaneously. I hope that you enjoy. Thank you.

Poem of the Day:
Crawling through the woods to find,
The simplest measures of clarity and peace,
I had looked long and long enough,
Through the patches and through the rough,
I had asked for my troubles to cease,
The lies of finding a gold mine in a mind entangled in a bind.

While better days lay ahead,
Those days I will not let dread,
To the times where I hung by a thread,
I remember though while I may have bled,
I never fled.

I am alive, reborn, to drive and to strive.

Italian Word of the Day:

Light – Luce
The light – La luce
A light – Una luce

Lights – Luci
The lights – Le luci
